Week 1 – Introduction to UX/UI design
- What is UX and UI: differences and points of intersection;
- Examples of good interfaces;
- Tools: Figma, Miro, Framer;
- Practice: audit an existing website/application.
Week 2 – User and scenarios
- User personas and user journey;
- UX research and CJM;
- Practice: create a user journey map.
Week 3 – UX architecture and wireframes
- UI architecture: screen maps, flow;
- Low detail prototyping (lo-fi);
- Practice: prototype in Miro + wireframes in Figma.
Week 4 – Interface and Visual Logic
- UI design principles: grids, alignment, color;
- Modularity and components;
- Practice: styling and UI kit for an application.
Week 5 – Working with Figma: Interactives and Adaptive
- Interactive prototypes;
- Responsive design;
- Practice: mobile app prototype.
Week 6 – Landing Page, structure and selling interface
- Landing page structure and goals;
- Practice: Landing page layout with interactives in Figma;
- Dissection: analyzing UX mistakes.
Week 7 – Project Presentation
- How to describe and defend UX/UI solutions;
- Presentation format for client or hiring;
- Practice: case presentation in PDF + Behance.
Week 8 – UX/UI designer’s portfolio
- What to include in a UX/UI portfolio;
- Final feedback on projects;
- Practice: portfolio collection and career session.
