Program by Week:
Week 1 – Introduction to Graphic Design
- Principles of visual perception;
- Types of graphic design and examples;
- Tools: Adobe Illustrator and Figma;
- Practice: collage on the theme “Me through Visual”.
Week 2 – Color and Composition
- Color schemes and the psychology of color;
- Balance, accents, grids;
- Practice: poster based on a limited palette.
Week 3 – Typography as a visual tool
- Working with fonts;
- Text hierarchy;
- Practice: event poster through typography only.
Week 4 – Identity and Visual Style
- What is brand identity;
- Presentation formats: logo, fonts, colors, graphics;
- Practice: moodboard + development of a mini-brandbook.
Week 5 – Digital Banners and Social Media
- Adapting design for digital;
- Practice: a series of banners for a fictional project;
- Group debrief + revisions.
Week 6 – Portfolio and presentation
- Portfolio structure;
- Case study preparation;
- Final review of 3-5 works;
- Practice: design and defense of the project.
