Today,I’m sharing 2 free downloadable watercolor printables from our “Contagious Kindness” project. A watercolor thank you card and “Wishing You Blessings & Joy” tags. I hope you like them!
Contagious Kindness…
My Friend Lynn from Nourish and Nestle was telling me about an inspiring message she recently heard. She said, “A couple of weeks ago I heard someone say something to the effect of ‘Right now America doesn’t have a glue that holds it together…what if we just decided to ‘be the glue?”
I love it!
First of all, it mentions glue and I kind of love glue. (grin)
Secondly and more seriously, it resonates with me. The world feels angry these days.
And it’s not just from a distance that I’ve felt this, I’ve found myself angry too. I’ve told you about the devastating illness my husband is currently suffering from and how we’ve been struggling through this as a family. It’s been an emotional ride full of hurt and fear.
There is something about feeling powerless, stressed or broken hearted that can quickly turn into feelings of anger. I may not understand it all but I do know, whenever I’m overly focused on myself, misery is guaranteed to follow. Anger is a cancer.
This is why when Lynn mentioned her “serving through kindness” project, I was all in. I know If I’m frustrated, stressed or any number of negative emotions, prayer & serving others is the cure.
I immediately sat down with my watercolors and created two designs we can use as thank you cards and tags.
Free Poppy Watercolor Thank You Card
The thank you cards are laid out 2 to a page to be cut and folded over like a regular 4.25 x 5.5 card. I used this photo quality card stock to print mine and they came out great.

Blessings and Joy Tags
The next design is my favorite. I made the house and paper airplane to be tags for gifts and care packages. I thought since kindness starts in the heart, I drew my front door with a heart and a little paper airplane to say to the receiver, “I’m sending love your way”.

Kindness is contagious even in an angry world so this week my kids and I plan to sit down and talk about ways we can serve as a family. I’ll have to let you know what we come up with. Till then check out Lynn from Nourish and Nestle idea’s. They are pretty spectacular!
Happy Creating!!

Wow, this cards look so beautiful and neat. It definitely a great thing to have this at home and go out with it when visiting a few friends to share it with them so as to show our gratitude. It’s going to resonate even more if they just pop up the card from an envelop and see that beautiful font with a thank you note. Cute!
These are really pretty and so incredibly sweet of you to share. I loved Lynn’s post too. 🙂
Jenny, I am thrilled to have you join me in ‘sharing kindness’ …and I love ‘contagious kindness’…that’s the perfect sentiment. Your cards are lovely…but then again I knew they would be. It’s funny, I am rarely excited for the trash collectors but this morning I’m putting little treats out for them and am a bit like a kid on Christmas eve!
Thanks again my friend…
Many, many hugs…Lynn
